Before the amen

the long version

This book is a new worship collection that evolved from the bestseller Touch Holiness. It provides fresh language that is inclusive of gender, ethnicity, race, age, orientation, and ability. Written by a diverse group of seasoned writers as well as young authors - from various Christian denominations - this resource will appeal to an intergenerational, ecumenical audience. It includes nine chapters of seasonal materials, three chapters of sacraments and services, and seven chapters oriented by topic. It also includes prayers for special issues such as natural disaster, domestic violence, and surrogate parents.
