"Ginny Van Andusson and her family are torn apart by an Indian raid on their homestead in the mid-nineteenth century territory of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Ginny is kidnapped and has no memory of her life before the raid. She must come to terms with the loss of her past, and try to survive in an unfamiliar Indian culture and family.
