The thinking fan's guide to the college football playoff

the long version

"With the much-despised BCS officially dead, college football fans must acquaint themselves with a new championship event, the four-team College Football Playoff. Award-winning college football writer Stewart Mandel provides a comprehensive guide to college football's new era, including a look back at the evolution of college football's postseason, an introduction to the new six-bowl playoff rotation and the selection committee that will pick the teams, and exercises applying the new system to previous seasons to illustrate the many ways fans will experience the sport differently."--Page 4 of cover.
