For many resisters to Nazism, their Christian faith was a moral compass and the source of their courage. They were very different kinds of people: theologians disappointed with the churches, government officials and military men who chose not to participate in crimes. Men and women, young and old, they believed that their Christian resistance must lead to action, even if it lead to death.
