Uncanny Avengers #1

the long version

It's fitting that this series is the first Marvel NOW! book to see print, as it picks up shortly after the events of Avengers vs. X-Men #12. Remender provides a glimpse of Charles Xavier's funeral and the general turmoil among the X-Men as they face an uncertain future. I do hope other post-AvX books will tackle the funeral from different perspectives, however, as it doesn't necessarily receive the space it deserves here.
