"Without conscious intent, this second collection of poetry continued into a third year. I shared the work with the grief support group at Sutter Hospice in Santa Rosa, California. It was through the poetry I realized that change was taking place. It seemed the essence or spirit of my beloved was moving away from me. My thoughts of him were diminishing. I began to observe changes. I am now participating in volunteer services in an area I would not have chosen before his death. I am riding a wave of transition and its name is Change."--Page 4 of cover.
