Once Darwin Cole was an F-16 fighter pilot, a family man. Now he's a dishonorably discharged washout drunk living alone in the Nevada desert, haunted by one of his last missions as "pilot" of a Predator drone. Approached by three journalists trying to identify the operative who called the shots in that mission, Cole reluctantly teams up with them. But in our surveillance culture, even the well intentioned are liable to find themselves running for their lives.
