The fourth in a series of eight books which reprint articles from the "Game Player's Strategy Guide to Nintendo Games" magazine. This is a hints, tips, and review book for "Nintendo Entertainment System" {NES}, and the "Super Nintendo Entertainmet System" {SNES} games. There are 11 featured games {One game "G.I. Joe" is not listed on the contents page, and the article "Super NES: First Wave" is a preview of new games for the system. The game "Ultraman" is actually on page 22, while the Contents pages lists it as 26, and the game "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" is listed on the contents page, however it is not present in this book. Instaed the game "The Last Ninja", is reviewed, later in the book there is also a "Super Strategy" on that game}, 21 "Super Strategy" games. There are color screenshots but no maps to these games, instead there are descriptions next to each image. There were 10 writers that contributed their artcles to this book; Richard Lashley, Gary Meredith, Jeff Ludrigan, Chris Slate, Stephen Poole, Vince Matthews, Lisa M. Bouchey, Brian Carroll, William R. Trotter, Phill Powell. Each article is reprinted, page by page from its origainal magazine appearance. {For example its in the first volume, the "Friday the 13th" 5 page article, also appeared in Volume 2, Issue Number 4, of the magazine. At the end of the book there is a "Directory" of video game companies. The book originally cost $14.95 in the USA, and $19.95 in Canada.
