The criminal mastermind known only as 'Simon Boyle' has amassed a vast fortune defrauding banks. Scotland Yard, unable to identify and apprehend him, is forced to call in private detective John Blackmore. Blackmore's investigations lead to Boyle's arrest - but not before he brutally murders the detective's informant. After his trial, still hiding his real identity, Boyle faces execution. But his vow, that he will be avenged, threatens that Blackmore and those responsible for his death will be killed ...
