This is the story of a deep friendship between a boy and a dog. It is a tale of loyalty and determination. Allan Marley was living alone on a wilderness lake because his father was serving a prison term. That's when Stormy appeared. He was a huge black retriever and a born hunter. Like Allan, he loved the wild country and he had his troubles, too. Sharing the good and the bad they helped each other weather several kinds of storms. They would never quit because they were both true champions.
