Phoebe Courtney

Phoebe Courtney was a member of the "Radical Right" of American politics from the 1950s to the 1970s. She was married to Kent Courtney, a Radical Right activist. In the 1950s, she and her husband launched the Free Men Speak newspaper, which was renamed the Independent American. While her husband traveled to address right-wing groups across the U.S., Phoebe edited the newspaper.
