the long version

It is the early eighteen eighties. Tom and Marie Flint have moved to New Mexico and established a small but thriving cattle business. All seems to be going well until the bank in El Jango is robbed and two innocent men are killed by the bank robbers. As they make their escape, the robbers hold up Santa Fe stage and the Flints' elder son is murdered. The bank robbers leave a revenge note, calling themselves The Regulators. It seems that the leaders of the bank robbers are intent on destroying the Flint family out of revenge for things that happened in Arkansas over twenty years before. Tom Flint and his younger son Jason are drawn into a desperate feud with the so-called Regulators and this becomes a battle to the death. But whose death?
