The Urbanization of Capital (Harvey, 1985b), a collection of six papers published during the previous decade together with two new chapters, does exactly what it says on the cover: It explores the question of how capital -- which Harvey, following Marx, theorizes as a process rather than a thing -- becomes urbanized.
