Bipolar Blues: A Collection of Poems invites the reader along on a journey inside the world of manic depression. Structured in various poetic forms, the poems are full of raw emotion with the intention of sharing the experiences of living with the stigmatic mental health disorder while trying not to be sulky or morose in the descriptions of its symptoms or their effects. It is hoped this collection of poems reaches even one young, or not-so-young, person who needs to know there are others who share and understand their struggles and that there is hope for a brighter day. This is an emotional journey and one to be learned from! The Upside Down and Sideways collection (poems composed spanning four decades) and the Garage Poems collection (works composed in the poet's garage) cover several topics and contain mostly short free-verse pieces. This first-released collection of poems is completed with several stand-alone works of various forms and on many topics along with special selections composed for family members, friends and loved pets.
