"Wounded warriors Jesse and James return directly to Ohio from a firefight in Afghanistan. They have brought four of their fallen comrades with them. Jesse will lose her arm, and James will lose his leg, but neither will lose their honor. Neither Jesse nor James could predict the sequence of events that returning directly from the battlefield with their fallen heroes would create. From persecution and prosecution from Washington, to assassination attempts from the military/industrial complex, Jesse and James are pushed beyond the limits of what anyone can take.
