The wild desert mining town of Sundown was running into chaos. From the moment the sheriff faltered and the first shots sounded, the hardcase miners downed tools and took to the streets - fired up on whisky and old hatreds - ready for a showdown with any man who dared stand in their way. They found Shane Carson waiting for them at the jailhouse. Carson was no lawman, but he was a man on a mission. If that meant standing alone against a murderous rabble, he would not back off.
