the long version
Kathy Hellman is pregnant and exhausted from losing friends and family to an arsonist. This madman plays the recorded screams of his victims over the phone for her. The pyro chases her, and no matter where she moves to, burns Victorian houses on the outskirts of where she lives, and moves ever closer to her home. Her arson investigator husband Jack can't figure out who's doing this. The police suspect him. Jack thinks it's her best friend; but Kathy refuses to believe it's either. Will this get her killed? Or will she find the courage to allay her fears and discover the true identity of the arsonist, no matter who the person is?
