Dennis Wainwright and Gage Kennon rescue a gypsy woman and travel the Mississippi on a showboat. They'd fought on different sides in the Civil War, so their friendship was an unlikely alliance. Gage Kennon was a humble and devout Christan man; Dennis Wainwright was the idea man. In their travels Gage saves a Gypsy woman from a terrible accident, and later saves an innocent young woman from being arrested. When their road leads to the grand showboat, the Queen of Bohemia, the exciting journeys are just beginning.
