This is a walkthrough, puzzle by puzzle hint and solution guide the the video game "Myst", it covers the Personal Computer (PC) Windows and Macintosh versions of the game. It has illustrated maps and gray scale screenshots. Each puzzle in the game is described then there are mini hints to help the player solve the puzzles themselves, and then there is a 'The Solution' section. There are also tips as to solving common problems when loading the game onto the two different formats. The last few sections of the book describe the creation of the game, the games creators, Rand and Robyn Miller, as well as their younger brother Ryan. It also looks at news-groups and websites about the game. The author "Ellen Cameron" isn't listed on the covers, or the title page, but only on a 'About the Author' page.
