I am the W.H. Wheeler who wrote this little book, not the long-deceased W.H. Wheeler who wrote about fens in South Lincolnshire. It's a "hi-lo" - high-interest, low reading level - novella I wrote in 1977 for Fearon-Pitman Publishers in Belmont, California, whose title library has apparently been sold and resold a number of times. I got paid by the word, so, alas, I own no right to it. The book is mainly set in Borneo, where a team encounters dangers while looking for a legendary lost city and gold statues on Mount Kinabalu.
