Robert Porter Griffiths

He completed a master's degree in biology at San Jose State University in 1968 and a PhD in microbiology at Oregon State in 1972. At OSU, he spent roughly half his career in the Department of Microbiology as a Marine Microbiologist and the other half as a Forest Soils Microbiologist in the Forest Science Department
