Preston Bruce

Preston Bruce Sr., 88, who served under five presidents as White House doorman from 1953 to 1977, died of congestive heart failure Dec. 21 at Holy Cross Hospital. He lived in Washington, DC. During his years at the White House, his duties included greeting guests and introducing them to the president.
