Maxime Chanson (b. 1983, lives and works in Paris) is developing a singular artistic project that consists of inventorying and analyzing the activity of other artists. His investigation is based on a system of classifying artists’ approaches according to categories that describe the creative process resulting from the combined action of a “motor” and a “means”.
