Mark Upton

Mark Lundy Upton is an artist who specializes in portraits of animals, particularly horses and falcons. His main media are oil paint, watercolor and pencil. Upton was born in Wiltshire, England. He learned falconry from his father, and studied at Swindon College of Art for one year before leaving school to become a full-time painter. He often visited the Middle East, was commissioned for paintings there.
