Willem Elsschot

Willem Elsschot (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈβ̞iləm ˈʔɛlsxɔt]) (7 May 1882 - 31 May 1960), was a Flemish writer and poet (pseudonym of Alphonsus Josephus de Ridder).
