"Kyung-Chik Han was a great shepherd of the twentieth century who loved Jesus Christ and his country with all of his heart. He poured all of his energy into national evangelism and global missions. His faith and life had a profound impact on Korean Christianity and still continue to inspire the young generation of Koreans today. His love for both his country and his neighbors emanated from his great love for Jesus Christ. Drawing the attention of religious societies all over the world, Kyung-Chik Han was awarded the Templeton Prize in 1992 for his contribution to the advancement of religion and humanity all around the world. He donated all of his Templeton award money to Youngnak Church to be used towards the North Korean mission"--
