"Sam and his foster sister, Mary Jane, are Jewish kids growing up in Cleveland during the late '60s. The fire becomes a defining moment in both of their lives when Mary Jane disappears and Sam is struck by a severe disability. Fast-forward twenty years. When an earthquake destroys Sam's home, he is mysteriously cured. He sets off to find his sister and the chase is on at a breakneck pace.
