the long version
This collection of poems by Anne Caston is a striking representation of humanity in this century. Caston explores the human mind and body, delving into the places where we are often most afraid to go. These poems consider the nature of death, suffering, brutality, friendship, love and longing, and our relationship to each. These are stark and moving poems.
