Yet up to now there has been no single source which provides the answers. The British Electorate 1963-1992 adds data from the 1992 British Election Study to the first edition of this work which extended to 1987. It provides an authoritative reference guide to British voters and elections, and is based on a wealth of statistical information collected by British Election Study research teams at the Universities of Oxford and Essex for almost thirty years.
