Eager to climb out from under the shadow of her famous mother, Eva manages to secure a place on a scientific expedition to the Amazon, determined to prove her own worth. But her steamy surroundings quickly build up heat of a different nature, as she finds herself increasingly attracted to the eminently desirable Dan. Then two surprise additions to the expedition turn everything upside-down. Will jealousies, family strife, and the deadly dangers of the tropics get in the way of Eva and Dan's future happiness?
