When all the snow and ice on the arctic mainland has melted and there is no sea ice, the Ishigaq and Big People find themselves sandwiched between dangerous southern predators moving north and northern predators moving south. Her Allness Nipster has a dream about what the Ishigaq must do to survive in this dangerous climate. Nipster's dream results in the Ishigaq moving north and experiencing tremendous danger, attacks on their culture and a challenge to who they are as individuals and as a people.
