Ellen, a thirty-year corporate woman, is promoted into management and finds that her career is soon undermined. A loss of young engineers to other companies has been noted, and management feels they must be given responsible positions in order to retain them. Ellen is the only female of a group of older employees targeted for replacement by younger leaders and files a discrimination lawsuit. She wins with the help of an astute girlfriend, a competent attorney, and the support of a group of unsolicited men and women co-workers of all ages.
