the long version

The story is about young, full of life and passionate Varsovians. Before the war, they make plans for the future. During the war, they work in the underground. For them it is not only a patriotic duty, but also youthful adventures, an opportunity to shine in front of their peers, and to impress girls. At the training ground, they are having affairs, showing off, or fooling around. They do not know yet that this summer will be the real test for their lives. Reunited friendship of heroes makes one of the boldest insurgent troops. They become witnesses of sacrifice and heroism, but also of cruelty, treachery and murder. They learn to love and hate. They learn from a bloody history a brutal lesson during their young age.
