Eddie and Elaine Doherty's marriage crumbled when he slid into compulsive gambling ten years ago. Now, after a life-changing car wreck, Eddie desires only to live his life for God and family--his wife and two daughters--and to work toward making their ailing mushroom farm succeed. But for Elaine, it's not so simple. She is afraid that Eddie, stressed by the failing business and their lingering marital problems, will be tempted to return to gambling, despite his support group. At times, she wonders if she can ever love and trust him again. Will his newfound faith in Christ prove sufficient as times grow harder?
