The life story of Al Bach (aka Tubbs) forms the backbone of this novel--from his miserable childhood in Swansea under the clipped wings of his mother Foxy, a prostitute, and Calvin, his tyrant of a father. We follow him through his boyhood in the company of T-Bone, head of a Cardiff branch of Hell's Angels.
