WAS SHE RIDING FOR A FALL? Anne wasn't at all sure that she was going to like her new life. She had moved from busy New York to live with her mother and a new stepfather in Virginia. She knew that her mother was very happy, and her stepfather wasn't a horrible person or anything, but she still felt strange. Having to adjust to a new school and new friends wasn't going to be all that easy either, especially when she found that everyone's main interest seemed to be horses. Horses! She knew nothing about them and wasn't sure she wanted to. Did that mean that her handsome neighbor, Matthew Goulden, would think her a silly fool? Somehow, she didn't think so. . . .
