Big Jim Wolfe rides into the town of Greasewood for a rest, but instead finds himself defending a family of Mexican sheep-herders from a power-hungry cattle baron. Jack Whelan has the town under his control and is ready to launch an all-out bloodbath in order to gain the rest of the valley.
