Finally Free, book two in the Separate series, has Homeland Security Deputy Director, Byron Whitacre, and Kitty Koldwell, the vivacious IRS agent, posing as newly-weds. They only have a month to confiscate the Christians’ billion dollar gold supply before the government goes cashless. Byron fights to resist Kitty's attraction while trying to survive both the death threats from his ex-girlfriend turned Muslim and the local police chief defending the gold. Kitty calls for backup when Byron is kidnapped and two ransom notes demand different amounts of gold for his release.
