Last Reach Point lighthouse has been home to the Jackson family for years, but when half of its garden crashes into the sea, Beth Jackson knows that it's time to find a new place for her family to live. Out of the blue, Beth receives an unusual offer of help from her smooth-talking local MP. Gareth Dakers gives Beth, her teenage son and her father the chance to stay in his London flat while they sort themselves out. Faced with life in the city, Beth longs to turn straight back but her father, Bill, and her son Danny seem to be eager to start a new life there. However, it's not long before she begins to realise that there's more to Daker's offer than meets the eye.
