Jared Cross has defeated a number of personal demons in his life, all but none more powerful than the source of all of his miseries, the death of his girlfriend Yancy Hanaan. A personal ghost so powerful it's driven Jared to despise those who are his true friends. A personal ghost so powerful that Jared can see her in his dreams. Then out of the blue, a woman Jared never met calls him, pleading for his help. All of a sudden Jared, Sean, and Moira Hitchcock are pulled into an experiment in terror that will test the very limits of his soul. As he investigates the death of someone that kept him from taking his own life, Jared will be forced to see how through God his own trials and tribulations will benefit him and others in ways that his own dark desires could never have done.
