Soon after Bette Robinson quits her horrendous Manhatan banking job like the impulsive girl she's never been,the novelty or walking her four-pound dog aroud the unglamorous Murray Hill neighborhood wears as thin as the "What are uou goiing to dowith your life?" phonecalls from her parents.
