It's a great book to read to continue Ever Bloom's journey in her immortality. She tries to place a spell on Roman that will make him give her the antidote to Damen's illness. Instead, she calls upon the forces of the dark mistress of evil, Hecate and finds herself hopelessly bound to Roman that will test her love for Damen like never before. She also must rebuild her friendship with Jude that will come in great assistance when finally ridding herself of Roman.
