Casimiro D. Rubio

Casimiro D. Rubio was born in Queztaltenango in 1865 and died in New Orleans in 1940. He served under two Presidents: for Manuel Cabrera in 1908-1910 as Vice Consul to Guatemala in San Francisco and later as Consul General to the Southeastern United States for Jorge Ubico until his death. He was married twice (Dolores Aragon and Angela Balmes), and had fourteen children from these marriages. His parentage is a mystery, but family oral history passed on to his children …
