Dr. Krishna Kumar, born in Meerut, India, was Emeritus Professor of Physics at Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, Tennessee. He passed the Master of Science (Physics) at age nineteen and got his first job at the National Physical Laboratory in New Delhi. In 1956, he left for the USA, where he received a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics at Carnegie Tech, Pittsburgh, PA.
