Luis Marcelino Gómez (Ciudad de Holguín, 1950). Writer, psychiatrist and Ph.D in Spanish. He practiced medicine in Angola, where he wrote the first African short story collection written by a Latin American in Africa. He worked as a professor of Spanish and Portuguese at various universities in the United States.
