Harold Bindloss

<a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Edward_Bindloss>Harold Edward Bindloss</a> was born in northern England and roamed the world, especially Canada, in a variety of manual occupations until he fell ill with malaria and returned to England. Unfit for ordinary work he took to writing and published a wealth of novels (<a href=http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/b/harold-bindloss/>bibliography</a>).
