Pat Hague

Pat Hague (née Goolden) was born during the First World War. She was brought up a vegetarian from birth, something quite unusual for that time. Her parents had become vegetarian for health reasons but her mother then became very active in animal welfare and there was always literature on this in the house. Religion, on the other hand, was not part of Pat’s childhood.
