John Q. Anderson

John Q. Anderson (1916-1975) a Texas native born 30 May 1916 in Wheeler Co., received his A.B. in English from Oklahoma State University in 1939, his M.A. from Louisiana State University in 1948, and his Ph.D. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1952, before becoming an instructor in the English Department at Texas A&M University in 1953.
