**Advocate. V. A. A. Azeez (Valechira Aboobaker Abdul Azeez) born in Alappuzha District (1932- 2002) contributed to the literature of Malayalam 55 books including short stories and novels. ‘Jawaharlalinte Jeevitha Katha’ was selected in the syllabus of Calicut University. He served ‘Kerala Sahitya Academy’ for 10 years as its Secretary. He was the Former Managing Director of Foam Mattings (India) Limited; Alappuzha.
