A. R. Myers, M.A., F.S.A., F.R.Hist.S., was a Lecturer in Medieval History in the University of Liverpool. A Yorkshireman born in 1912, he was educated at Hudders-field College and Manchester University, where he gained his First Class in History in 1934.
